Receiving Manager

Responsibilities include:

Taking charge of all inbound shipments in the warehouse
Developing efficient processes for packing and stocking parts in the distribution center
Managing and maintaining relationships with Carrier Companies in a timely manner
Resolving vendor disputes and ensuring vendor relationships are maintained
Strategically positioning the team to meet customer requirements
Leading and directing a team of at least 20 direct reports, including the dock, bulk, and small pack teams
Overseeing LTL and Export Shipping Functions

What you need to succeed:

Bachelor's Degree and/or 2-3 years of relevant experience
Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations
Preferred experience with Transportation (but not required)
Strong leadership and collaboration skills
A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work with associates at all levels
Strong business acumen
Prior experience in distribution and/or receiving
Ideally, a candidate with a Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree holder who is open to pursuing their Bachelor's degree or currently working towards it.
