Responsibilities include:
- Work in an adolescent patient unit with the ability to float to the adult unit during codes or high census times.
- Provide innovative and exceptional psychiatric care in a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Coordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients.
- Ensure medical orders are followed and initiate/follow treatment planning.
- Act as a patient advocate at all times.
What you need to succeed:
- Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- Either a personal connection to mental/behavioral health or a strong desire to serve that community.
- High energy and comfort working with an adolescent population.
- Behavioral health or med surge background is preferred.
