- Maintain an understanding of new and existing regulations affecting the organization's products and processes
- Prepare customer responses supporting product information through written statements, questionnaires, and affidavits
- Review product formula compliance with state, federal, and international regulations
- Assemble, maintain, and submit technical files for product approval and certifications
- Participate in projects supporting the development of strategic technologies related to regulatory functions
- Develop and maintain regulatory standard operating procedures and work instructions
- Request, document, and maintain ingredient raw material supplier information
- Attend required regulatory training and assist in departmental and company regulatory trainings
- Follow site food safety and food defense procedures
- Support site Food Safety and Quality Policy, including the site Food Safety Culture
- Attend all required Food Safety and Personal Safety Training
- Self-sufficient professional comfortable wearing multiple hats
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders
- Attention to detail
- Degree or 5+ years of regulatory experience
