Job Description
Sales Representative
Do you have an engineering or technical background? This position could be the perfect fit for you!
What you need to succeed:
- 4-year degree in Engineering or Business
- Able to learn a comprehensive product log
- Willingness to travel overnight (required)
Responsibilities include:
- Priority activities include management of daily customer accounts
- Accurately prepare price quotations for a wide variety of products
- Review incoming orders for proper technical specifications, pricing, and delivery
- Visit customers to meet with Maintenance, Engineering, and Purchasing personnel to review product performance and promote new sales
- Work with internal technical staff to relay customer specifications for new or modified product
- Work with Sales Management to develop strategies to improve sales performance with each customer
- Forecast sales expectations for assigned customers
- Prepare activity reports for submission to management
