trak group is working with a community-focused behavioral health organization to find a School-Based Mental Health Therapist to support students at a local high school in the Cincinnati area. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical mental health interventions and early support services to students facing complex challenges, including dual diagnoses and social-emotional barriers.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct assessments and interventions to support students’ mental health and academic success.
- Provide individual and group counseling in school, home, or community settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings, student success meetings, and multi-agency case reviews.
- Offer training and psychoeducation to students, families, and school staff.
- Maintain timely documentation and case notes using an electronic medical records system.
What You Bring
- LSW, LPC, or MFT (must be in good standing).
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Experience with assessments and the ability to differentiate between mental health and behavioral issues.
- Strong cultural competency and ability to adapt to diverse student backgrounds.
- Preferred: Trauma experience, chemical dependency certification, or experience working with dual-diagnosis clients.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Location: A local high school in the Cincinnati area, onsite with some potential for telehealth.
- Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM preferred (flexibility available between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
- Year-round role: Expected to maintain caseload and productivity during summer months.
