trak group is hiring a Senior Acquisitions Analyst / Associate for a private equity real estate investment firm focused on commercial assets. This role is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, diligencing, and closing acquisitions while partnering closely with leadership, brokers, and external advisors. It’s ideal for someone with strong commercial underwriting experience who wants hands-on deal exposure and long-term growth.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and source acquisition opportunities through market research, broker relationships, and industry networks
- Lead underwriting and oversee financial modeling for prospective deals
- Develop business plans and support investment committee presentations
- Manage due diligence, including site visits, tenant interviews, and third-party vendors
- Review leases, financials, title, and property documents to identify risks
- Coordinate with legal counsel on transaction structure, diligence, and closing matters
- Assist with negotiations and communications with sellers, brokers, and JV partners
- Lead transaction closings and prepare transition materials for asset management
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, tenants, capital partners, and industry contacts
- Monitor market trends and identify new investment opportunities
- Participate in industry events and conferences as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5–7+ years of commercial real estate acquisitions experience
- Strong underwriting, financial modeling, and market analysis skills required
- Experience across office, industrial, or retail assets;hospitality or multifamily a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail with strong written and organizational skills
- Self-starter comfortable operating in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment
