Job Title: Senior Controls Engineer
Job Type: Permanent
Job Description:
As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various industrial applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are efficient, reliable, and meet client specifications. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting complex control system issues and optimizing performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems using PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA.
- Program and configure control system components and software.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure performance standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing control systems.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate control systems with other technologies.
- Document system designs, configurations, and user manuals.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
- Extensive experience with PLC programming, HMI design, and SCADA systems.
- Proficiency in control system software such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and clients.
- Experience in project management and leading engineering teams is a plus.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace.
- Familiarity with robotics and motion control systems.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
