Responsibilities include:
- As the Shipping Manager, you will lead outbound shipments, overseeing Location Maintenance and Kitting Teams.
- Direct the picking and packing team, manage LTL and export shipping functions, and create/improve processes for top performance.
- Utilize metrics and data as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the ERP system for accurate and timely transactions.
- Oversee Front-Line Operations supervisor, selecting/developing individuals for future roles in Operations.
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of parts, from arrival to availability for shipping.
What you need to succeed:
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a logistics/warehouse/distribution role.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations.
- Ability to start with the 12-8 shift for effective team operation.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
