Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Skilled Trades Recruiter to join our team in Springboro, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruiting for skilled trades positions and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This role involves sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates to meet the demands of our clients in the skilled trades sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract skilled trades professionals.
- Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications and fit for specific roles.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and industry contacts.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide timely solutions.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including job postings, candidate screening, and offer negotiation.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate information in the applicant tracking system.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the skilled trades or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of skilled trades roles and requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
- Familiarity with labor laws and hiring regulations.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, but not required.
