Job Title: Sourcing Analyst
Location: Piqua, Ohio
Job Type: Permanent
Job Description:
The Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies to optimize the supply chain and drive cost efficiencies. This role requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
- Analyze supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Monitor industry trends and implement best practices in sourcing and procurement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain a supplier database to track performance metrics and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Prepare reports and present findings to senior management.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sourcing and procurement, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sourcing software.
