Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned commodities, focusing on quality and cost-effectiveness
- Manage global, regional, and local sourcing responsibilities, including supplier relationship management and risk mitigation
- Conduct market intelligence research to identify industry trends, pricing, and supply chain risks
- Lead the RFP process: prepare requests, select participants, review proposals, negotiate contracts, and award business based on total cost of ownership
- Implement long-term agreements to achieve cost reduction objectives and support organizational goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to drive product cost savings and process improvements
- Provide regular feedback to suppliers using monthly scorecards to support performance improvement
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of sourcing experience, including RFI, RFQ, RFP events, and contract negotiation/management
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in strategic sourcing and supplier development
- Experience with sourcing machine and motor parts is a plus
- Influence and develop new processes on a creative, problem-solving team
