Staff Accountant – AP/AR (Contract-to-Hire)
trak group is working with a growing commercial solar company to find a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to manage both accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). What You’ll Do
- Begin with Accounts Payable (AP) before expanding into Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Process invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Reconcile vendor and customer accounts, addressing discrepancies as needed.
- Record and post journal entries while maintaining financial records.
- Support month-end close, including preparing financial statements and analyses.
- Manage credit card transactions and employee receipt validation during month-end.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and assist with collections as necessary.
- Collaborate with vendors and customers to resolve billing inquiries and discrepancies.
- Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of AP/AR experience (5+ years preferred).
- ERP system experience – Sage Intacct is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail – ability to enter data accurately and reconcile accounts.
- Professional communication skills – comfortable interacting with vendors and customers.
- Ability to commute to Milford, OH now and Symmes Township starting in May.
