Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contract Staff Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in financial documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update accounting records and files.
- Analyze budgets and create financial reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial data accuracy.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Support the preparation of tax documents and compliance reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ERP systems.
- CPA certification or working towards certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
