- Prepare and maintain financial statements, forecasts, and annual budgets
- Assist the Controller in managing company assets
- Provide financial reporting and analysis through ad hoc reporting and data analysis in Excel
- Prepare journal entries during the month-end process
- Review costs using Excel as the main tool
- Ensure timely submission of all required documents/reports to the parent company
- Oversee and develop processes to ensure proper execution of A/P and A/R processes
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
- Perform advanced accounting functions
- Achieve quarterly and annual objectives within agreed time frames
- Successfully complete delegated assignments within agreed time frames
- Demonstrate an analytical approach to add value to the business within assigned functional areas
- Conduct financial reporting and analysis
- Possess intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Prioritize data analysis and ad hoc reporting
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required
- Experience with various ERP & accounting systems: Pro-Com, QuickBooks, Oracle, Lawson
- Cost Accounting & Inventory Transaction Knowledge
- Pricing Analysis
- 4-7 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Trainable and coachable mindset
- Some exposure to inventory and forecasting preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or strong equivalent experience
- Proficient in General Ledger, AP, and AR
