- Initiate and coordinate the tax planning process with the Tax Manager.
- Prepare various types of returns for assigned clients.
- Conduct tax research and provide consultation.
- Perform general bookkeeping services for assigned clients.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Adhere to engagement budgets and participate in the budgeting process.
- Plan and administer smaller engagements with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with strong academic performance.
- 3+ years of tax experience.
- CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, GAAP, and GAAS.
- Experience with paperless public accounting software (ProSystem, Engagement, QuickBooks).
