Plant Manager
Pay: $140,000 (midpoint) + bonus
Location/Schedule: Blue Ash, OH | Full-Time (Onsite)
trak group is partnering with a respected manufacturer of lighting and graphics solutions to find a strategic, people-first Plant Manager to lead daily operations at their flagship facility. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on the floor—motivating teams, optimizing workflow, and bringing lean practices to life in a high-performance environment.

- Lead, coach, and support 10 direct supervisor-level reports across two shifts
- Implement and sustain Lean tools like 5S, PDCA, Standard Work, and Visual Management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and promote a strong safety culture
- Optimize plant layout and resource utilization to meet production targets
- Manage plant budget and contribute to capital investment proposals
- Collaborate with departments including Supply Chain, Quality, HR, and Engineering
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
- 7–10 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt strongly preferred)
- Excellent floor leadership skills—someone who leads from the front
- Experience in light industrial, light assembly, or metal fabrication environments
- Strong ERP, KPI management, and cross-functional communication skills
