Responsibilities include:
- Analyzing blueprints and determining materials required for building, modifying, or repairing tools and dies.
- Operating machinery and using measuring instruments to verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances.
- Assisting with die tryout and part inspection, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Maintaining 6S standards in all work stations and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Completing other duties as assigned by supervisor.
What you need to succeed:
- 5 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker.
- Experience in maintaining and repairing production dies.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and basic computer skills.
- Mechanical inclination and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and mentor others.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with ProtoTRAK programming on knee and bed mills is a plus.
