Responsibilities include:
- Perform ultrasound examinations primarily focused on obstetric studies, including BPE, pelvics, small anatomy, and complications.
- Work in an ambulatory setting primarily in Clifton, with occasional floating to Anderson, Mason, and Western Hills.
- Utilize Epic and Merge PACS software systems for imaging.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the EMR.
- Collaborate with interdepartmental team members and ensure patient comfort and care during procedures.
- Adhere to infection prevention procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Stay updated with job knowledge through participation in educational opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you need to succeed:
- Associates degree in allied health or graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational program.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS through ARDMS) or Sonography credential through ARRT.
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS).
- Strong computer skills, with experience in Epic and/or Merge PACS preferred.
- New grads are welcome but will undergo 6 weeks of training to ensure proficiency.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a self-managing team environment.
- Competencies in OB/GYN, prostate, body, abdominal, and head/neck ultrasound examinations.
- Commitment to maintaining quality ultrasound exams and adhering to guidelines and protocols.
