Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance data, addressing any deviations or issues collaboratively.
- Assess potential new suppliers, ensuring alignment with quality benchmarks.
- Establish and enforce supplier quality standards in line with company objectives and industry regulations.
- Lead cross-functional teams to address quality issues, employing problem-solving methodologies.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams in supplier selection, ensuring alignment with product specifications.
- Implement and oversee Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs) to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) with critical customers, ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Foster continuous improvement initiatives within the supplier network to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Develop and deliver training programs for suppliers on quality standards, processes, and requirements.
What you need to succeed:
- Quality Engineering background focused on correcting problems on the front end and Validation work.
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Strong understanding of Quality Systems, with exposure to IATF or ISO (from Aerospace or Automotive).
- Good process exposure in quality background, contributing to the development of formal SQ processes.
- Strong auditing skills to determine supplier capabilities for necessary improvements.
