- Advocate for youth employees to gain meaningful work experience and enhance their educational journey.
- Work closely with worksite supervisors to ensure a positive and educational work experience for youth participants.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide basic instruction in workplace activities to support youth success at job sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve barriers to summer employment success for youth participants.
- Serve as a liaison between the youth program and job site supervisors.
- Prepare monthly evaluations and reports of youth work site activities and development.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing within the organization and to relevant external stakeholders.
- Facilitate youth in work-related activities to guide them towards career success.
- Provide intervention strategies for conflict resolution, tardiness, and attendance issues.
- Ensure timely delivery of accurate time sheets for payment and train worksite supervisors on program rules and time sheet procedures.
What you need to succeed:
- Currently enrolled in or completed Associate or Bachelor Degree programs in Education, Social Work, or related fields.
